Bihar: As the nation eagerly awaits the consecration of Lord Ram’s idol at the Ayodhya temple on January 22, a Bihar MLA from the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has stirred controversy with his remarks. The MLA, Ajay Yadav, claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has used taxpayers’ money for the construction of the Ram temple, calling it a waste of hard-earned funds. This controversial statement adds to a series of remarks by leaders from the Mahagathbandhan government in Bihar regarding the temple event.

Earlier, JDU MP Kaushalendra Kumar also made controversial remarks in Nalanda. Despite the alliance’s claim that Lord Ram belongs to everyone and not just the BJP, statements like Ajay Yadav’s may create unrest not only in Bihar but also on the national political stage.
The consecration ceremony in Ayodhya, where PM Modi will be the chief guest, is a highly anticipated event, marked by elaborate security arrangements and ongoing preparations. The controversial comments by Bihar leaders may add tension to the political discourse surrounding the significant occasion.
