Ranchi: AAP leader Sanjay Singh launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, likening his stance against corruption to the preaching of non-violence by Osama Bin Laden and Gabbar Singh.
“When Narendra Modi speaks against corruption, it’s like Osama Bin Laden and Gabbar Singh preaching non-violence. There’s a Modi washing powder now that supposedly cleans all your corruptions,” he remarked.
Singh highlighted the cases of Hemant Soren and Arvind Kejriwal, both of whom were arrested under what he termed as false accusations. Soren faced charges related to a land case, while Kejriwal was implicated in the Delhi liquor policy case and is currently in judicial custody at Tihar Jail. AAP alleged that the jail administration was withholding insulin from Kejriwal, intending to harm him slowly.
Referring to his own incarceration, Singh highlighted resilience, citing his release on bail after spending nearly six months in jail. He rallied alongside Kalpana Soren and Sunita Kejriwal, asserting that their presence symbolized courage against adversity. Singh accused the BJP of misleading the public with slogans like ‘400 paar’ in the Lok Sabha elections, emphasizing the INDIA alliance’s commitment to the country’s welfare over personal agendas.
Sunita Kejriwal echoed Singh’s sentiments, condemning the Central government’s alleged authoritarianism and accusing authorities of attempting to murder her husband by withholding vital medication.
