Bhopal: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Leena Jain from Ganj Basoda constituency in Vidisha district, Madhya Pradesh, has approached the police with a complaint that she has received a threatening letter, which states that Home Minister Amit Shah will be killed in bomb blast if he ever visits Ganj Basoda.

According to reports, Vidisha Superintendent of Police Vinayak Verma has revealed that BJP MLA Leena Jain has filed a complaint stating that she has received a hand-written letter threatening to kill her and Union Home Minister in a bomb blast. The letter also threatens to blow up a local bus stand, railway station and government hospital.

Reportedly, the police have taken the threat seriously, and security has been tightened across Vidisha district.

This is not the only incident of threatening letter being sent to BJP leaders. Delhi BJP Chief Manoj Tiwari had recently received an SMS threatening to kill him and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and a letter had surfaced in June threatening to kill PM Modi, which was received by Rajasthan BJP chief Madan Lal Saini.
