Mumbai: Even as the probe is on in the sensational Sushant Singh Rajput death case, it is said that the Central Bureau of Investigation has not been able to find any evidence to suggest that the actor was murdered.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his apartment in Bandra on June 14 and since then questions have been raised at the investigation by the Mumbai police and fans have been insisting that the actor was killed for reasons yet to be known.
With no evidence at hand to prove a murder, the CBI is focusing on the suicide angle and examining if a case of abetment to suicide can be filed.
According to the team conducting the probe, none of the forensic reports, statements of the key suspects or the reconstruction of the crime scene suggest that this is a case of homicide, reports Indiatoday adding that the CBI is not officially closing the murder investigation just yet.
The next key element in the probe is going to be the report submitted by the AIIMS forensics team which will weigh in on the post-mortem and autopsy reports of Sushant Singh Rajput.
