Commercial LPG Cylinder Price Hike Effective from November 1

New Delhi: State-run oil marketing companies Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation, and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation have increased the prices of commercial 19kg LPG cylinders by up to Rs 101.5 in the four metro cities, effective from November 1, 2023.

Following the revision, a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder will be priced at Rs 1,833 in Delhi, marking an increase from the previous price of Rs 1,731. In Mumbai, the new rate stands at Rs 1,785.50, while in Kolkata, the cylinder will be available at Rs 1,943. In Chennai, the price has been set at Rs 1,999.50 per cylinder.

This marks the second instance of LPG cylinder price hikes within two months.

LPG is widely used as a motor fuel, cooking gas, for heating, refrigeration, and certain high-end industrial processes. It is a popular energy source across various sectors in the country.
