New Delhi: A deal has been reached by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Congress for Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Goa, and Chandigarh to fight the BJP together.
The opposition parties formed the INDIA bloc, which includes the Congress and the AAP, to challenge the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections.
After the announcement, BJP leader Manoj Tiwari slammed the INDIA alliance partners and said that the people of Delhi “know their reality”.

“Arvind Kejriwal and AAP had ousted Congress from Delhi and Punjab and now the Chief Minister is sharing the stage with Rahul Gandhi,” he said.
According to Mr. Tiwari, the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have done a lot work for the common man. “Everyone has BJP and Narendra Modi in their hearts. Since it is now clear that the top leaders of the AAP and Congress are one and the same, Delhi residents will make all the decisions,” he said.
The party led by Arvind Kejriwal is going to run for four of the seven seats in Delhi, namely West Delhi, South Delhi, East Delhi, and New Delhi. The final three, Chandni Chowk, North West Delhi, and North East Delhi, are going to the traditional celebration.
AAP and Congress officials jointly announced the seat-sharing plan a few weeks after the opposition’s INDIA bloc secured their first electoral victory in the Chandigarh mayoral election.
