Commercial Cooking Gas Price Slashed, Now Rs 30 Cheaper

New Delhi: The prices of 19 kg commercial cylinders and five kg Free Trade LPG (FTL) have been reduced. Oil marketing companies have announced the reduction, effective from April 1.

The price of the 19 kg commercial cylinder has been reduced by Rs 30.50, and the 5 kg FTL by Rs 7.50. With the revised prices, a 19 kg commercial cylinder will cost Rs 1,764.50 in New Delhi.

Oil marketing companies such as Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, Indian Oil Corporation, and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited revise cooking gas prices on the 1st of every month. Gas prices fluctuate depending on market dynamics and fuel costs.

The market witnessed two consecutive hikes in February and March, with a Rs 25 increase in the price of the 19 kg commercial cylinder. On January 1, rates were slashed by Rs 39.50 for commercial cooking gas.
