Chennai: In a heartwarming incident, Dubai Police traced and returned a phone lost by popular Chennai-based digital creator Madan Gowri within just a few days, free of cost. The YouTuber shared his experience in a video, praising the authorities for their swift and efficient action.
Phone lost at Dubai airport
Recounting the incident, Gowri said he had misplaced his phone at Dubai International Airport while boarding a flight to Chennai last week. He immediately informed the air hostess, who advised him to send an email to the authorities.
“I had zero belief that I would get the phone back, but I still mailed,” Gowri narrated in his video.
Phone tracked and returned
To his surprise, the Dubai Police responded, asking for the phone’s details and identification marks. Once verified, the phone was located and sent back to him on the next available flight to Chennai.
Expressing gratitude, Gowri said in the video’s caption:
“Dubai Police and no not paid, genuine appreciation.”
