New Delhi: Close on the decision of Rahul Gandhi deciding to step down from the post of AICC Chief, his sister and Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra reacted on the move.
In a tweet, Priyanka Gandhi said, “Few have the courage that you do. Deepest respect for your decision.”
Rahul Gandhi had posted a long letter on Wednesday making public a decision he had conveyed to Congress leaders last month and asserting that he had resigned as “accountability is critical” for the future growth of the Congress.
Rahul took over as Congress chief on December 16, 2017 from his mother Sonia Gandhi after the party’s rout in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls with a vision to revive the party ahead of the 2019 elections.
