New Delhi: Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport has been ranked as the world’s eighth best airport in a survey conducted by AirHelp.
AirHelp is an organisation specialising in air-traveller rights and seeks compensation in cases of delays or cancellations.
Hamad International Airport (Qatar) has been ranked as the best airport in the world in 2019, and is followed by Tokyo International Airport (Japan), Athens International Airport (Greece), Afonso Pena International Airport (Brazil), Gdansk Lech Wasa Airport (Poland), Sheremetyevo International Airport (Russia), Changi Airport Singapore (Singapore), Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (India), Tenerife North Airport (Spain) and Viracopos/Campinas International Airport (Brazil).
The 10 Worst Airports for 2019 are London Gatwick Airport (United Kingdom), Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (Canada), Porto Airport (Portugal), Paris Orly Airport (France), Manchester Airport (United Kingdom), Malta International Airport (Malta), Henri CoandaInternational Airport (Romania), Eindhoven Airport (Netherlands), Kuwait International Airport (Kuwait) and Lisbon Portela Airport (Portugal).
