A 40-year-old Indian software professional working in the United States died of a suspected heart attack at his residence in Virginia, leaving his family in shock.

Sudden collapse at home

The deceased has been identified as Tatiparti Rakesh, who reportedly collapsed suddenly on Sunday night. With the help of his wife Tejaswini and neighbours, he was rushed to a nearby hospital, but doctors were unable to revive him.

Family members said the incident occurred unexpectedly, with no prior indication of serious health issues.

Long career in tech sector

Rakesh had been working with Amazon for the past 17 years and was based in Virginia. He had built a stable career in the technology sector and was well settled with his family in the United States.

He married Tejaswini, a native of Karimnagar, in 2014. The couple were blessed with twins in 2020.

Family in grief

Rakesh’s father, Jitender Rao, a businessman, resides in the Ramanadhapuri colony area of Warangal. The family has been deeply affected by the sudden loss.

Local leaders, including former BJP MLA Marthineni Dharma Rao and former Mayor T. Rajeshwar Rao, visited the family to offer condolences.

Request to bring body to India

The grieving family has requested authorities to facilitate the early transportation of Rakesh’s body to India for final rites.

The incident has once again highlighted the emotional challenges faced by families of Indians living abroad, especially during unexpected tragedies.
