Kottayam: In a heartbreaking discovery, a father and his eight-year-old son were found hanging on Sunday in a shed of an uninhabited house near their residence at Meenadam near Kottayam, as reported by the police.
The victims, identified as Binu Kumar (48) and his son Sreehari, were discovered hanging at approximately 8 am on Sunday. The disturbing scene prompted locals who found them to alert both neighbors and the police.
According to authorities, the deceased father and son duo were known to go for morning walks, and many people reportedly saw them on the morning of the tragic incident. The police are currently investigating the motive behind this distressing act.
Binu Kumar is survived by his parents, wife, and a daughter. The community is left in shock as they grapple with the devastating turn of events.
