Mumbai: Kokilaben Ambani, mother of Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani and Reliance ADA Group chairman Anil Ambani, was admitted to HN Reliance Foundation Hospital on Thursday night after being airlifted in an emergency.
The 90-year-old matriarch of the Ambani family is undergoing treatment under senior doctors at the hospital. While details on her health condition remain awaited, the Ambani family has rushed to be by her side.
Emergency admission in Mumbai
According to reports, Kokilaben Ambani was flown to Mumbai late Thursday evening following a sudden health complication. She was immediately admitted to HN Reliance Foundation Hospital, which is managed by the Reliance group.
Videos circulating on social media showed Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani and other family members arriving at the hospital on Thursday night. Several members of the family were also seen landing at Kalina airport, returning to the city in response to the emergency.
So far, the Ambani family has not issued an official statement regarding her condition.

Kokilaben Ambani, born on 24 February 1934 in Jamnagar, Gujarat, is best known as the wife of the late industrialist Dhirubhai Ambani, the legendary founder of Reliance Industries. Widely respected as the matriarch of the family, she has played a central role in holding the Ambani family together during India’s rapid economic transformation.
She has four children – Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani, Nina Kothari and Dipti Salgaocar.
