The incident occurred at the Dutt Dham Temple hillock while Survase was en route to the Ellora caves. Accompanied by her friend, who was recording her efforts to learn driving, Survase mistakenly pressed the accelerator instead of the brake while the Toyota Etios was in reverse. This mistake caused the car to rapidly move backward, break through a crash barrier, and fall into the valley.

Survase, a resident of Hanuman Nagar, was making Instagram reels when the accident happened. Her friend, Shivraj Mule, captured the tragic moment on video. According to an official from the Khutabad police station, rescuers took an hour to reach the crash site. Unfortunately, Survase was declared dead upon arrival at a nearby hospital.

The incident took place as Survase and Mule were filming at the Dutt Dham Temple hillock, where they had traveled from Aurangabad to Sulibhanjan Hills. The police reported that Survase, who was inexperienced in driving, had ventured into the open area near the cliff with her friend.

Around 2 PM, Survase began reversing the car slowly. The video shows the car about 50 meters from the cliff’s edge. As she continued to reverse, the car suddenly accelerated. Mule can be heard in the video shouting “clutch, clutch, clutch,” trying to guide her. Despite his efforts, the car sped up, and the engine revved. Unable to stop her in time, the car went over the cliff, resulting in Survase’s death.
