In this city’s eastern suburb of Govandi, a man’s body was discovered behind a hospital, authorities reported on Sunday.
Late on Saturday night, a bystander noticed the body behind Shatabdi Hospital, and they alerted the police, according to an official.
He stated that the victim looked to be between 35 and 45 years old, and the body was in a highly decomposed state.
According to the official, the victim’s identity is still unknown and the police are looking into reports of missing people.
He said that a report of an accidental death has been filed.
