Expressing concern over threats directed at his son, Salman Khan, Salim Khan labeled the perpetrators as ‘jail’ or illiterate individuals. He revealed that Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has ensured additional police protection for the Khan family.

Salim Khan highlighted the seriousness of the threats, condemning those who make such statements. He stated that Mumbai Police have assured protection for the family and their acquaintances. Regarding Salman’s safety, Salim mentioned that maintaining his routine work schedule has been advised, with an emphasis on allowing the police to handle the matter discreetly.
Details of the Shooting Incident
According to information from the Mumbai Crime Branch, moments before the shooting, two suspects parked a motorcycle near Salman’s residence at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. The assailants fired shots and fled upon noticing no one outside the house.
Legal Actions and Arrests
Mumbai Police filed a case against Anmol Bishnoi for allegedly making threatening remarks on Facebook related to the shooting. Anmol, brother of incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, is under investigation. Additionally, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, both from Bihar, were arrested by the Kachchh police and handed over to the Mumbai Crime Branch. They were remanded to custody until April 25 in connection with the shooting incident.
