During a public rally held in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed confidence that the statehood of Jammu and Kashmir would soon be restored. He assured the crowd that Assembly elections would follow the reinstatement of statehood, allowing residents to engage with their elected representatives.

In his address, the Prime Minister emphasized the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the region, assuring that they would proceed without the threats of terrorism, strikes, stone-pelting, or cross-border firing.

Asserting his commitment to resolving longstanding issues in Jammu and Kashmir, Modi pledged to address the region’s challenges, which have persisted for decades. He highlighted the significant transformation witnessed in the area over the past decade under his leadership.

Modi also challenged opposition parties, particularly the Congress, to attempt to reintroduce Article 370 of the Constitution, which was revoked during his tenure.

Additionally, the Prime Minister urged support for BJP candidates Jitendra Singh and Jugal Kishore, emphasizing the importance of a robust government at the Centre to confront the nation’s challenges effectively.
