New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi’s twitter account has been gaining followers and admirers in the recent months. His quick wit and humour have taken people by surprise and has received positive response from the twitter-verse.
On her 107th birthday, a woman wished that she could meet Rahul Gandhi. Why? Her granddaughter’s tweet read: “Today my grandmother turned 107. Her one wish. To meet @OfficeOfRG Rahul Gandhi ! I asked her why? She whispers … He’s handsome !”

A few hours later, Mr. Gandhi himself tweeted his response, wishing her “beautiful grandmother a very happy birthday and a merry Xmas” and also requested that she give her granny a “big hug” on his behalf.
You’d think that was it… right?
Turns out, the Congress President did more than just tweet his birthday wishes. According to another tweet from the granddaughter, which read: “And as if this was not enough @OfficeOfRG Mr.Gandhi called and personally wished my Nani!! This is #TrueHumaness. Thank you all of you for the blessings for her. Each one of them matter.”
Is he going to give Minister Sushma Swaraj a run for her money in the department or reaching out to the general public? Only time will tell.
