Indian Railways has rolled out its all-inclusive mobile application, RailOne, on July 1, 2025, aiming to transform the passenger journey into a smoother and more engaging experience. This intuitive platform offers complimentary OTT (Over-The-Top) entertainment, featuring a broad collection of films, series, documentaries, audio shows, and interactive games for travellers to enjoy on the go.

Beyond entertainment, RailOne houses live TV, on-demand videos, music, gaming, e-commerce, and key travel utilities in one digital hub. Core passenger services include reserved and unreserved (UTS) ticket booking, real-time train tracking, complaint registration, e-catering, porter arrangements, and last-mile taxi bookings — eliminating the need for multiple apps.

In partnership with WAVES OTT, the app delivers content in numerous Indian languages and dialects, reflecting the nation’s cultural diversity.

How to access free content:

  • Log in using mPIN or biometric authentication via single sign-on.
  • Select the Go To Waves option under More Offerings.
  • Browse and enjoy the library of free entertainment.

Developed by the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS), RailOne integrates credentials from RailConnect and UTS apps, streamlining access for existing users. It is also IRCTC-authorised, similar to other commercial ticketing apps, ensuring secure and official booking.

By merging entertainment, convenience, and essential travel tools, RailOne sets a new standard for digital railway services in India.
