In an era when job applications are increasingly inventive, one candidate has stunned recruiters and the internet alike by submitting a resume that was only half complete.
A viral Reddit post on r/recruitinghell showed the partial document: the top displayed a generic career objective—“To be part of your company wherein I can enhance my skills and gain more knowledge as well as develop my personality as a career person.”
But below that, the page was completely blank, except for a bold line in the centre that read:
“Hire me to unlock my full potential.”
The post, titled “Resume printed halfway and said: Hire me to unlock full potential,” quickly attracted thousands of reactions. While some users joked that the applicant’s full credentials were hidden behind a “paywall,” others called the approach unexpectedly brilliant.
“If I were a recruiter, I’d definitely invite them for an interview—at least for the creativity,” one commenter wrote.
Whether the stunt was intentional or the result of a printer mishap remains unclear. But the tactic certainly achieved what every resume aims for: attention
