Hyderabad: 6 Dead in Chemical Warehouse Fire

Hyderabad: A devastating fire erupted on Monday morning at a chemical warehouse in Bazarghat, situated under the Nampally police station limits, claiming the lives of at least six workers, while three others sustained injuries.

The fire reportedly originated during a car repair, rapidly escalating due to the presence of diesel and other chemicals stored in drums on the ground floor.

Tragically, the fire extended to four additional floors in the building, leading to the entrapment of workers. Among the casualties, four men and two women lost their lives in the tragic incident.

Videos captured at the scene depicted substantial plumes of smoke billowing from the warehouse. Firefighters swiftly arrived at the location, working diligently to gain control over the spreading flames. The incident has left the community in shock, highlighting the urgent need for thorough investigations into the cause of the fire and preventive measures for such tragedies in the future.
