Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy extended heartfelt gratitude to the INDIA bloc for nominating Justice Sudarshan Reddy as their Vice‑Presidential contender, heralding it as a moment of immense pride for Telugu-speaking communities.

Emphasizing that the campaign transcends party lines, Revanth affirmed that Justice Reddy is not affiliated with Congress but was chosen by INDIA’s partners for his constitutional wisdom and steadfast commitment. He praised the judge’s credentials, citing his prior leadership of an independent OBC reservation committee in Telangana.

Revanth urged a broad spectrum of parties—from BRS and AIMIM to TDP, Jana Sena, and even BJP MPs—to join in supporting Justice Sudarshan Reddy, calling on all Telugu leaders to set aside partisan differences.

He recounted how the legendary NT Rama Rao of the Telugu Desam Party once backed a prime ministerial figure (PV Narasimha Rao) in the 1991 bye‑election, using that example to coax current leaders like N. Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, and others to unite behind this non‑partisan nominee.

Revanth underscored that Justice Sudarshan Reddy’s selection embodies constitutional integrity and expertly serves OBC interests—credited with helping secure 42 percent reservation in Telangana’s cabinet, pending final presidential assent.

His appeal is clear: this isn’t politics as usual, but a call for unity to uphold the Constitution through a wise, independent figure respected by all. Let Telugu voices unite.
