A six-year-old boy, A Ajay, tragically lost his life after being struck by a collapsing school gate at MPP School in Hayathnagar on Monday afternoon. The first-grade student was standing near the gate when it fell, causing severe injuries.
Witnesses reported that Ajay was near the gate as other children gathered around it. The heavy gate suddenly collapsed, hitting him. Despite being rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment, doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival.
The police, led by Inspector P. Nagaraju Goud, have registered a case and the child’s body has been sent to Osmania Hospital’s mortuary for a post-mortem examination. This unfortunate incident has raised concerns about safety measures at schools and the structural integrity of facilities.
