Srinagar: Two suspected terrorists were gunned down during an encounter after police intercepted a vehicle they were traveling in near Srinagar on Tuesday evening. it is suspected that the terrorists were trying to gain entry into Srinagar to carry out an attack.
The police said a Naka party was deployed at Sampora, Pampore. As they intercepted the vehicle the terrorists opened fire and in the ensuing encounter two of them were killed. The identity of those killed is yet to be established. A cordon and search operation is underway.
