Ayodhya: In a charming incident at the Ram temple in Ayodhya, a curious monkey made an unexpected appearance in the sanctum sanctorum just a day after the pran pratishtha of the Ram Lalla idol. The enchanting moment unfolded around 5:50 pm when the monkey nonchalantly entered through the southern gate and approached the revered Utsav idol of Lord Ram.
Alert security personnel stationed outside the temple quickly noticed the uninvited guest and hurried towards the scene, fearing any potential harm to the sacred idol. To everyone’s surprise, the monkey, seemingly unperturbed by its surroundings, displayed a calm and composed demeanor.
As the officers closed in, anticipating possible mischief, the monkey gracefully altered its course and headed towards the northern gate. The trust managing the temple, Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra, shared the incident, stating, “Today at around 5:50 pm, a monkey entered the sanctum sanctorum through the southern gate and approached the Utsav idol. The security personnel, concerned that the monkey might disrupt the idol, ran towards it. However, the monkey calmly moved towards the northern gate as soon as the officers approached.”
The unexpected yet serene encounter left devotees present at the temple witnessing a unique and delightful moment.
