West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee experienced a minor injury on Wednesday as a car unexpectedly entered her convoy in Burdwan. The car driver had to apply emergency brakes, leading to the accident. The incident occurred while the Chief Minister was traveling back to Kolkata by road due to adverse weather conditions.
Preliminary information indicates that Mamata Banerjee sustained a minor head injury. Seated in the front alongside the driver, she was injured when her head struck the windscreen.
The Chief Minister is currently being transported back to Kolkata, where medical professionals will attend to her, according to official statements.
