Zomato has recently unveiled a fresh dress code for its female delivery staff to mark International Women’s Day. Via their Instagram account, the food delivery giant announced that female drivers now have the option of wearing kurtas while on duty. The post, which included a video showcasing the new attire, quickly gained traction and received a plethora of comments, leaving a positive impression on many viewers.

In the caption accompanying the post, the company stated, “Starting today, Zomato’s female delivery partners can opt for wearing a kurta.”
Acknowledging the feedback received from several female delivery partners regarding discomfort with the standard Zomato t-shirts, the company stated, “We listened to the concerns expressed by our female delivery partners regarding the western-style Zomato t-shirts and decided to offer them a choice.”
The video featured female delivery drivers proudly wearing the newly introduced kurtas, expressing gratitude for the company’s gesture.
Within hours of being shared, the video garnered nearly three lakh views, over 46,000 likes, and numerous comments, with many praising Zomato’s progressive initiative.
