Riyadh: Indian Social Forum Riyadh Northern State held a public meeting at Khayyam Restaurant.
Indian Social Forum Northern State Committee Member Mr Mohammed Shahnawaz began the function by welcoming the guests and attendees. Indian Social Forum Central Committee Riyadh President Mr Basheer Karanthur, Inaugurated the event. Mr Ihsanul Haq president of the Northern State Committee of Indian Social Forum emphasized the current issues of Muslims in India.
The event’s key speaker Mr Naqi Ahmed Nadwi, Indian Social Forum Northern State Committee member highlighted the current issues of Muslims in India. He laid great stress on the need to acquire education and the uplift of Indian Muslims.
Mr Salman Khalid, former vice president of AMUOBA, emphasized providing educational opportunities for generations to come and highlighted that education is the need of the hour for Indian Muslims as they remain backward on many social and economic indicators even today.
N. Wasif, a prominent journalist and Mr Sajjad, Indian Fraternity Forum Northern State Committee member addressed the gathering. Many prominent leaders and representatives of various organizations in Riyadh were present. A vote of thanks was given by Indian Social Forum Northern State Committee member Mr Mohammed Shahnawaz, who appreciated the support of all attending the event.
