Let’s love all languages but let’s breathe Kannada: Amin

Dubai: The 12th episode of NewsKarnataka.com’s talk show ‘Sunday Celebrity’ was held on Sunday March 20 at 8.00 pm IST.

The guest for the evening was Kamalaksha Amin, Kannada Activist and Artist.

Floyd Kiran was the host for the event.

The programme was live-streamed on NewsKarnataka.com’s Facebook and YouTube channels.

Floyd Kiran introduced the guest and welcomed him.

Going back to the days of igniting his dream of becoming a Radio Jockey Kamalaksha Amin recalled: “It indeed was my dream. But the financial condition at home didn’t let me think about the field. The time I began my career in Bahrain, slow and steadily my dreams too found its shore,” he said.

The love people shower is always eternal. It indeed is impossible to compare people’s love, he expressed recalling the beautiful memories.

No wealth can give the satisfaction involving social service can give. I have an understanding family and a supportive wife who stand by me in what I do, he added. An unexpected Rajyotsava Award from Dakshina Kannada District was a surprising and joyful event, he recalled.

In the ‘Celebrity Favourites’ session Kamalaksha Amin said, Kasturi and Kamal are nick names I have and I am also called Kutta by my sister.

Post six years of marriage having my elder son was the happiest moment in my life. Where as, when I lost a friend It was the toughest and saddest phase. If I am sad I listen to old Hindi songs and forget my worries. Post marriage spending time with my kids created a new world for me and has been healing all my pain, he remarked.

As a message to the audience Kamalaksha Amin said, “Let’s love all languages but let’s breathe Kannada. Let’s follow the religion of humanity and spread love.”

Kiran Nirkan expressed gratitude to Kamalaksha Amin. Extending best wishes to Kamal, Kiran signed off the session.
