Abu Dhabi: Swami Brahmaviharidas, along with BAPS saints and volunteers, visited Abu Dhabi. They were warmly welcomed by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates. The meeting lasted for an hour, during which they talked about important global issues and current events. They agreed on the importance of promoting peace, harmony, and tolerance.
Swami Brahmaviharidas thanked His Highness on behalf of His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj and BAPS worldwide. He expressed gratitude for His Highness’s personal support and supervision of the construction of the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi. His Highness had specific questions about the Mandir, such as the number of spires, the carvings of plants and animals, and its size.
His Highness was impressed by the progress made in building the Mandir. He believed that the project’s success was due to the grace of the Beholder and the dedication of the volunteers. His Highness expressed his desire to stay updated on the Mandir’s progress. He felt that the message of global harmony conveyed by the Mandir should reach beyond its physical location and spread throughout the world.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Omar Saif Ghobash, Advisor to His Highness Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as well as members of the minister’s staff and BAPS volunteers.
