Bagalakote: A mother allegedly poisoned her three daughters to death and then resorted to suicide by consuming poison at Thimmapura in the Taluk on the evening of Wednesday January 11.
The deceased have been identified as Rekha Arjun Bagali (30), daughters Sannidhi (8), Samriddhi (5) and Srinidhi (3).
Rekha of Thimmapura was married to Arjun Bagali of Sunaga Village in Bilagi Taluk. Rekha was staying with her three children and husband at her home.
It is said that as she had three daughters, she was always worried about their education and future prospects.
