Bagalakote: The highest number of corruption in the State took place when Siddaramaiah was the Chief Minister. Thus, he is the most corrupt Chief Minister. All records of corruption during his tenure have been given to the Lokayukta. If he is sent to jail now, he will get bail by the time of elections. So wait and watch, said BJP State President Nalin Kumar Kateel and added he will be soon in jail.
Speaking to mediapersons he said, “There is a feeling among the people that CM Basavaraj Bommai and our Government are respecting all the communities. Also, the BJP Government’s schemes are reaching the people. It was also revealed during the BJP’s Sankalp Yatra. He also said I have great respect for B. S. Yediyurappa. We need his leadership. There is a feeling that Basavaraj Bommai’s Government should be under his guidance,” he said.
Further,Kateel said, If there is a record of any corruption committed by us, give it to the Lokayukta. Whoever it is, let them be arrested, he challenged.
“Don’t simply say that it is a 40 per cent Government just to mislead the people. If Siddaramaiah is sent to jail so soon, he will get bail during the elections and will be out. Hence the only guarantee is that he will be sent to jail,” he said.
