Dharawad: The BJP will release its list by Monday April 10. Our list as assured is releasing after the election dates were announced, said Former Chief Minister Jagadish shettar.
He was speaking at the inauguration of the BJP media office at JC Nagar in Hubballi. “There is no question of delay. The Congress had announced tickets for 224 seats a month ago but the JD(S) did not release its second list. Our’s is a National party and everything will be finalised tonight,” he said.
Reacting to the fact that the ticket to some of the sitting MLAs will not be given he said, it is a process in every election where there is an anti-MLA wave in some places. Some people have health issues.
Reacting to a question on whether anyone would miss a ticket in Dharwad, Shettar said, “It will be decided by our High Command. I’ll be competing this time. I don’t answer again and again. I am sure I will contest this election.”
