Dharawad: Congress leaders pelted stones at the residence of Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa through some miscreants of the Banjara community over the reservation issue. BJP Leader Chalavadi Narayanasamy said that the Congress Party and the Congress Leaders have no morals at all.
Addressing a press conference in the City, he said, “Siddaramaiah had challenged Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai to increase the reservation if he had a guts. In this regard, we have increased the reservation. Earlier there were only six castes but now there are around 101 castes and it is the Congress which created these castes but the BJP Government has given reservation to all of them fairly without doing injustice to them,” he said.
“There was opposition to reservation earlier. However, as soon as the issue of reservation became clear, it is being praised everywhere. But the Congress party, which is unable to tolerate this, is trying to mislead some communities by uprooting them,” he said.
