Ramanagara: BJP Taluk President D. M. Ravi has lashed out at MLA C. N. Balakrishna for taking an anti-Hindu stand without enquiring about the health of Hindu youths who were attacked on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami in the Town.
Addressing a press conference at Pathrakarthara Bhavana in the Town, he said that this is not the first time that Muslim youth have been attacking Hindus in the Town. They had earlier created communal riots during the Shani Deva festival as well, even during which the people’s representatives had taken an anti-Hindu stand.
“We should give a befitting reply to the politicians who do not enquire about the health of brothers and sisters for the sake of vote bank. Today our neighbours are in trouble and our houses will also be affected in the future. Keeping this in mind, we all have to come together otherwise we will not be able to survive. The police are putting pressure on those who have been attacked,” he said.
Police should investigate impartially, he said and warned that the Police are a puppet in the hands of people’s representatives and the police station will have to be gheraoed in the coming days.
