Dharawad: Congress workers and Vinay’s supporters have started a hunger strike in front of Former Minister Vinay Kulkarni’s house in Dharawad.
Vinay Kulkarni should be declared as the Congress candidate for Dharawad Rural Constituency. Vinay, who is out on bail after serving a jail term in connection with the murder of Yogesh Gowda, has been barred from entering Dharwad District.
Vinay’s supporters have started a sit-in in front of his residence demanding that the Congress party should declare him as the Congress candidate from Dharwad Rural Constituency.
When Vinay was an MLA, he brought in a huge amount of funds for Dharawad Rural Constituency. This year there is a wave in his favour and he will be elected.
The Activists have started a hunger strike demanding that the party should declare him as the candidate for Dharawad Rural Constituency without giving him a ticket in Shiggaon and other places.
