Dharawad: Former Minister Vinay Kulkarni will contest the election from Dharawad Rural Assembly Constituency and in his absence on April 20 his wife Shivaleela Kulkarni officially submitted Vinay’s candidature with a show of strength. Along with that Former Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar offered his support.
Shivaleela who came to Dharawad Sub-Divisional Officer’s office through a procession from Dharwad’s famous Muruga Matha submitted Vinay’s nomination. Lakhs of people came during nomination submission.
Vinay’s sons Vaishali, Deepali and Hemant participated in the rally and appealed to the people to support their father. Shivlaeela took the procession through an open vehicle. Vinay’s fans showered flowers.
Former Minister and Kalaghatagi Congress candidate Santhosh Lad also supported Shivaleela when she came to submit nomination papers to the office of Sub-Divisional Officer.
