Dharawad: “If the BJP has not yet announced the list, you have to understand. Nowadays, film stars are being used for promotion and people are not attending his programme so they are making new efforts. For the BJP, apart from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s face, the only thing that is there is the face of film stars,” said Former Minister Santosh Lad.
Speaking at Hubballi Airport after the Congress party’s name was released for Kalaghatgi Constituency, he said, “I have worked for 10 years and programmes like those that were done when our Government was in power. “The programme that Narendra Modi ji has done in the last eight years at the Centre is known to the people, he said.
“In the last four years, the BJP Government here has done nothing. People have complete information. They’ve done all this to make sure they can’t win. The people of Karnataka will send a befitting reply to the BJP,” he said.
“The BJP has insulted Babasaheb Ambedkar, Babu Jagjivan Ram and has nothing but to make allegations. Whole country knows how much respect they have given for Babasaheb Ambedkar. There has been a lot of change in politics and what they have done for the SC/ST, OBCs, their mindset, and not for The Ideology,” he said.
The nomination papers will most likely be submitted by April 19.
