Dharwad: Sri Ram Sena chief Pramod Muthalik to launch five lakh signature campaign supporting the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in India, addressing to the media in the city, he said, Uniform Civil Code has become a topic of discussion across the country. we all must support the idea of uniformity and one law for all the people residing here, no country has such mixed laws and irregularity in their countries but India.
“India is a over diversified nation, having separate laws for religion, this shall result in insecurity for the people of marginalised section, Prime Minister Narendra Modi have specially assigned Sri Ram Sena to collect five lakhs signature from across, UCC will not be a threat to any religion and faith, but will treat everyone equal, providing equal opportunity” Muthalik further added.
Muthalik alleges, the campaign will also help people to study and understand about the UCC, the signed copies from through out the Karnataka will be further sent to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Muthalik calls out, actors, doctors, lawyers, entrepreneurs, scholars and many more to extend their support to the campaign.
