Dharwad: The Dharwad-Belgaum bypass road has been witnessing a concerning increase in accidents, resulting in the tragic loss of lives. Recently, a bike accident claimed two lives, and now, yet another fatal incident has taken place near Thegur in the Dharwad taluk along the national highway.
In this latest incident, Vinay Hiremath (24) and Sandeep (29), who were en route from Dharwad to a local dhaba for lunch, tragically lost their lives. While returning after their meal, their car collided with a divider on the highway, leading to a fatal crash. One of them succumbed on the spot, while the other was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. The Garag Thane police have visited the accident site, conducted a thorough investigation, and meticulously documented the details.
