Gadag: When Prime Minister Narendra Modi comes to power at the Centre, he had promised to double the income of farmers. However, Leader of the Opposition Siddaramaiah alleged that instead of doubling the income of farmers, Adani and Ambani companies have doubled their income.
Speaking after inaugurating the Prajadhvani Yatra programme, he said, “Modi, who frequently holds roadshows in the State, does not speak even for a single day about Mahadayi and farmers’ schemes. The voters of the State should tell BJP leaders that you are a bribe-taker and will not vote for you. They call Modi again and again for the same. So, I have named them Alibaba and Chalis Chor,” he said.
Rona MLA Kalakappa Bandi takes 10 per cent as bribe for transfers, and police recruitments. This has been stated by his own party’s MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal and MP Pratap Simha himself.
