Haveri: The District Police has arrested four inter-state robbers.
The accused have been identified as Anthony alias Anthappan (22), Abbas E. S. Pirairi (38), Nishadbabu alias Babu (47) and Bharatkumar alias Kutta (29).
Cash worth over Rs. 1 Crore, five cars, an air gun, six mobile phones and three laptops were seized. The gang was targeting traders who were transporting hawala money and smuggling gold.
The poylice under the guidance of Superintendent of Police (SP) Hanumantharaya, nabbed the accused in a robbery case registered at Byadgi Police Station.
