Vijayapura: Officials of the Food Safety and Quality Authority raided a Bengaluru-based centre suspected for sellingj adulterated Ghee on Friday October 21. In all 30 kgs of adulterated ghee has been seized.
A milk dairy in Sai Park was raided on Friday. At the time of the raid adulterated ghee, gheey bottle, sticker and a bill book in the name of Muddebihala Taluk were found. A man named Ravi Biradar has been arrested on the charges of adulteration.
The Food Safety and Quality Authority Officials, were monitoring this store for several days and conducted an unexpected raid on Friday. The seized ghee has been sent to the laboratory for testing. Legal action will be taken only after receiving the report if adulteration is found.
