Vijayapura: Election officials raided the Sri Balaji Sugar Factory near Yaragalla Madari in Muddebihal Taluk for the second time last night and seized items worth Rs. 40 to 50 Lakh including a wall clock and a T-shirt belonging to Former Minister S. R. Patil.
On Monday March 27 and Tuesday March 28, a team of returning officers conducted the first raid for two days and seized items worth approximately Rs. 2.10 Crore including a watch with SR Patil’s photograph and a T-shirt with ‘SRP’ written on it.
While the first one was an attack before the model Code of Conduct came into force, the current raid has taken conducted since the model Code of Conduct came into force.
