Vijayapura: Six bogies of the goods train derailed and overturned at Mulawad Railway Station in the District. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
The train track laid between Solapur – Hubballi via Vijayapura has been damaged. The goods were transported by Railway and there was no loss of life.
Due to this incident, the six trains which were supposed to go to Solapur, Hubballi, Bagalkote and Gadag via Vijayapura route have been suspended, the officials said.
The Vijayapura Railway Police rushed to the spot on hearing the news and inspected the spot.
