In a horrifying crime, a 14-year-old girl was brutally murdered inside her house on Magadi Road on Wednesday afternoon. According to police, the teenager was alone when unidentified attackers entered. Her parents, both daily-wage labourers, had stepped out for work.
The crime was discovered when a relative visited and saw the girl’s body lying near the kitchen. Officers reported multiple wounds on her, suggesting she was beaten severely.
Investigators believe the killer struck her on the head with a small gas cylinder. CCTV footage from the vicinity captured a man exiting the residence, carrying what appeared to be a cylinder before loading it onto a motorcycle.
“The main door was undamaged, which points to the likelihood that the victim knew the person who came inside,” a senior officer explained.
Police are now questioning family members and neighbours to establish any possible motive or prior enmity. They are also working to trace the suspect seen in the footage.
Officials have assured that all technical evidence, including fingerprints and forensic samples from the crime scene, will be examined closely to identify and apprehend the perpetrator.
This tragic incident has left the community in shock, with residents demanding swift action to ensure justice
