Bengaluru: The Kolar police arrested six persons in connection with the abduction of former minister Varthur Prakash.
The four have been reportedly arrested from Bengaluru.
Prakash, a two-time MLA and minister was kidnapped on November 25 along with his driver Sunil while returning from his farm in Kolar.
Earlier, the police had arrested two persons. Based on the lead given by them, these four were arrested. However, the prime accised is still at large and police has formed special squads to arrest him.
According to the police sources, till now over 30 persons have been questioned in this regard.
Senior officials are tight-lipped over the investigation and latest arrests in this case.
