ACB sleuths raid three govt officers’ premises

Bengaluru: In three separate raids spread across the State on March 9, Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths unearthed documents pertaining to alleged illegal wealth acquisition by three different government officers.

ACB sleuths raided Athani Upper Krishna Project Special Land Acquisition Officer Rajashri Jainapure’s husband’s elder brother’s house on March 9.

Acting on an ‘illegal appropriation of wealth’; complaint, the ACB team raided Rajashri’s husband’s elder brother’s house in Keshavapura in Hubballi and inspected several documents. Rajashri had also served as sub-divisional officer in Belagavi.

An ACB team also raided the house of an assistant executive engineer (AEE) of the Koppal Zilla Panchayat (ZP) in Jayanagar extension of Gangavati town.

ACB slueths also raided the Mangaluru house of Excise Deputy Superintendent Vinod Kumar. Including this house, they simultaneously raided six places. The team lead by Dakshina Kannada ACB Superintendent of Police, acted on an ‘illegal appropriation of wealth’; complaint.
