Bengaluru: Rachel Prisha, who battled for life after a peepal tree branch fell on her head on TC Palya Main Road in Ramamurthynagar on March 11, 2020 has passed away. She battled for her life in hospital for 702 days.
She was a class III student of a City school. She was being treated at a private hospital. She succumbed to a chest infection. It can be recalled here that the Incident happened when she was going on the bike with her father. A case has been registered in this regard at KR Puram Police Station.
Former CM HD Kumaraswamy who had met the kid at the hospital has consoled the family on her death. He has urged the BBMP to ensure that such incidents do not repeat.
As the news spread netizens consoled her death. They criticised the BBMP for its negligence in making the public places safe for the City residents.
