Bengaluru: A disturbing video circulating on social media shows purported fans of Telugu superstar Allu Arjun brutally attacking a man in Bengaluru. In the video, the attackers demand the man chant ‘Jai Allu Arjun’ while assaulting him, leaving him bloodied and injured. The incident occurred near KR Puram in the city.

Concerned netizens shared the clip on X (formerly Twitter) and called upon Bengaluru police to take swift action. Though the cause of the altercation remains unknown, unverified reports suggest that the victim may be a fan of actor Prabhas.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is currently in Vizag, shooting for his upcoming film, “Pushpa 2: The Rule.” Recently, a video surfaced online showing the actor warmly greeting a crowd of fans in Vizag, where he was showered with flowers and cheers.

The shooting for “Pushpa 2” is in its final stages, with reports indicating the completion of a massive song sequence called ‘Gangammathalli Jathara.’ This elaborate sequence reportedly incorporates action and emotional elements and required 35 days of production, with a staggering budget of Rs 50 crores.

Apart from Allu Arjun, the film also features Rashmika Mandanna and Fahad Fazil in lead roles. Speculations hint at a special appearance by Sanjay Dutt, although no official confirmation has been provided yet.

“Pushpa 2: The Rule” is slated for release on August 15, 2024.
